This Privacy Policy describes how ElcoLynx (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information across all of our mobile applications, including but not limited to BikeMate, RangeOps, LoadEm, and any future apps we publish (“the Apps”). By using any of the Apps, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

- App Data: App-specific data such as bike details, maintenance logs, ride data (BikeMate), match scoring and shooter profiles (RangeOps), reloading and inventory data (LoadEm), and any other content you choose to save.
- Usage Data: How you interact with the Apps, including screens viewed, features used, and preferences.
- Device Information: Device type, model, operating system, language, IP address, and app version.
- Third-Party Data: If you connect services like Strava or other integrations, we receive only the data you authorize us to access.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Apps’ functionality.
- Sync your data securely using Firebase Cloud Firestore.
- Send you reminders, notifications, and updates (if enabled).
- Process subscription payments through app stores using providers like RevenueCat.
- Improve the Apps, analyze performance, and develop new features.
- Respond to your support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Firebase Cloud Firestore and related services, hosted by Google Cloud Platform. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
- Firebase Authentication for account security.
- Firestore security rules to limit unauthorized access.
- Regular security reviews and updates.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Firebase/Google Cloud: For app infrastructure, authentication, and data storage.
- RevenueCat: For subscription and entitlement management.
- Analytics Services (e.g., Firebase Analytics): To understand app usage and improve performance.
- Third-Party Services You Connect (e.g., Strava): Only when you choose to connect them, and subject to their own privacy policies.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Data Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format where technically feasible.
- Withdraw Consent: Disable notifications or disconnect third-party integrations at any time.

6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Apps. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our Apps are not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action.
8. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Apps, you consent to such transfers, which we will always handle in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
9. Cookies and Tracking
The Apps may use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and similar technologies to collect information about usage patterns and performance. These tools help us improve stability and user experience. You can manage certain tracking preferences through your device or platform settings.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the Apps or via our website and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Apps after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
11. Delete Your Account and Data
You can delete your account at any time from within any of our Apps:
Settings → Delete Account
When you delete your account:
- Your Firebase Authentication account is permanently removed.
- All data associated with your account stored in our databases (including bikes, maintenance logs, integrations, preferences, and any other app data) is automatically deleted.
- Deletion is handled securely through Firebase’s automated data deletion tools.
- All data is removed within 30 days, and in most cases within a few seconds.
